This is a quick and easy meal that my Mom used to make for us all the time when we were growing up. Mom is an amazing cook, she always made extravagant meals for us, but sometimes the simple comfort food recipes were the best kind. As you will see this is a vegetable-less casserole, but feel free to throw in some peppers, it's been done. I personally like the recipe as is with a nice garden salad and some fresh bread on the side. It takes less than 30 minutes to make, a few ingredients go a long way, and it's even better the next day. Just remember, it's comfort food!
Boil a large pot of salted water, cook 1 BAG MACARONI NOODLES
Dice 1 LG ONION, and sauté in a pan with 1/2 tbsp. of minced or bottled garlic.
When onion is translucent, cook and crumble 1LB GROUND BEEF in same pan.
Drain cooked noodles.
Add cooked ground beef and onions to drained noodles in same pot.
